Metallica

Metallica consisted of Ulrich, rhythm guitarist and vocalist James Hetfield, and lead guitarist Kirk Hammett, and going through a number of bassist currently being Robert Trujillo. Early Metallica releases contained fast tempos, harmonized leads, and nine-minute instrumentals.

Ozzy Osbourne

Ozzy osbourne was part of the band Black Sabbath and was fired out 1979 largely for unreliability due to substance abuse. He was a musician and songwriter who revelutionized metal and is known as the "Godfather of Heavy Metal" because of some of his material like the "Prince of Darkness".


Led Zeppelin

Led Zeppelin are regarded as one of the first heavy metal bands.Their band's individualistic style draws from many sources and transcends any one genre.

this is a great site for learning to change the retouch different parts of the face which i found to be very effective from the comparisons of the before and after shown

Random Cover Album

The name of the 1st band is "Pigmon" which is sorta like was completely random, its album title is "What is chosen by others". I chose the green font with the special effects for my band name since the background of that area is green and there for match with the blending of both titles, but i made it stand out by making it a darker green and making it stand out more. i chose the pink font with the white outer glow since the outer glow separates it from the pink, and at the same time creates the same blending yet unique standing out look. The band is a classical band that plays creative relaxing musical that's peaceful like nature, thus the unique bird.

This name of the 2nd band is called "SONS OF THE SOIL", i completely capitalized this since i found that the font didn't look good when their were regular letters, and also because i found that the fact it says sons and the fact thres a whole bunch children that look the same was interesting since i think that the soil on earth creates many similar/same looking plants just like the children shown. so i though it was a good play on words.I made it have a light glow to it so it would match with the background but it still very noticeable. the title of the album is "They are GOSSIPS" i capitalized gossips since i find that a word like gossips need to stand out more and would catch the viewers eyes and make them think about it for a second. This band is a rock band, i think this because it seems like something you can relate to rock since it talked about problems (like gossip) and people like the "sons of the soil"

I chose Micheal Ray as my photographer. I liked his work since its about making food look delicious. I liked how every food is not show perfectly and a few crumbles are thrown in to make it look that much realer. Micheal Ray uses many compositional elements, the main one being selective focus.

Magazine

My definition of mood is being able to express a feeling like: serenity, danger, happiness, sadness, anger, ect from a picture. For instance seeing a smiling man shows a “happy” mood while the storms clouds show a “dangerous” mood.

Photoshop Exercise 2

For this picture i used 4 different things. Superman, Zapdos from pokemon, Kid Gohan from Dragonball Z, and a picture of NYC for a backround. For each Character i resized then to fit with the backrounds size but checking the Show Bounding Box and draged it down to sizew with Shift to prevent distortion. Then i Added a Vector Maskand used both the Magic Wand and Lasso to capture the characters and used the Select>Inverse option to cature the backrounds and then delete it so everything but that chacters were remainded. then i used a new layer and painted it yellow under each Characters layer to look for any not completly deleted areas that might have been missed. I then Moved every character around so make it look better. Finally i used the Brightness/Contrast option to darken all of the characters to suit the backround a bit more.

Obama Exercise

To photoshop obama into this backround i used a picture of obama with the white house. I used the Rectangular Marquee Tool and select some of the sky. Then i when to Select>Similar so capture the rest of the sky aswell and delete it. After which i repeatedly used the Magic Wand to select the white house and used the Lasso to unselect any of the selected obama that was accidently captured, and then i delete the white house. Then i resized the image that just has obama in it, so i could fit it to the backrounds size and resolution. then i copied the obama picture into my other backround and moved him to what i thought was the best area for him to be in. After which i used things like the Image>Adjustments>Brightness/Contrast to make obamas skin seem brighter as if he was actually in the backround. I then used the Lasso to capture Obamas hands and used the Brightness/Contrast settings again, this way it would only affect his hands. Then i whiten his teeth for a finishing touch
