My definition of mood is being able to express a feeling like: serenity, danger, happiness, sadness, anger, ect from a picture. For instance seeing a smiling man shows a “happy” mood while the storms clouds show a “dangerous” mood.

Photoshop Exercise 2

For this picture i used 4 different things. Superman, Zapdos from pokemon, Kid Gohan from Dragonball Z, and a picture of NYC for a backround. For each Character i resized then to fit with the backrounds size but checking the Show Bounding Box and draged it down to sizew with Shift to prevent distortion. Then i Added a Vector Maskand used both the Magic Wand and Lasso to capture the characters and used the Select>Inverse option to cature the backrounds and then delete it so everything but that chacters were remainded. then i used a new layer and painted it yellow under each Characters layer to look for any not completly deleted areas that might have been missed. I then Moved every character around so make it look better. Finally i used the Brightness/Contrast option to darken all of the characters to suit the backround a bit more.

Obama Exercise

To photoshop obama into this backround i used a picture of obama with the white house. I used the Rectangular Marquee Tool and select some of the sky. Then i when to Select>Similar so capture the rest of the sky aswell and delete it. After which i repeatedly used the Magic Wand to select the white house and used the Lasso to unselect any of the selected obama that was accidently captured, and then i delete the white house. Then i resized the image that just has obama in it, so i could fit it to the backrounds size and resolution. then i copied the obama picture into my other backround and moved him to what i thought was the best area for him to be in. After which i used things like the Image>Adjustments>Brightness/Contrast to make obamas skin seem brighter as if he was actually in the backround. I then used the Lasso to capture Obamas hands and used the Brightness/Contrast settings again, this way it would only affect his hands. Then i whiten his teeth for a finishing touch
